It has become one of Lexington's most well-known houses, but for all the wrong reasons.

An upscale home once infested with rats was sold Monday afternoon at an auction block at the Fayette County Courthouse.

The house is on Glen Abbey Circle in the Andover area. It was condemned nearly a year ago because of a rat infestation, but it has since then been cleaned from top to bottom.

The house was purchased by Mohammad Ahmad for $150,000. The bidding kicked off just after ten with three bidders.

The home was inspected and was valued at around $225,000.

That's such a selfish comment--this is still a sad story. Granted, it may not seem as serious as murder, but this was still a family who went through a great deal over the situation. Get some sympathy.

Finally! Maybe we will move on to something that's a little more interesting to talk about, and leave the Andover snobs alone...

THE COVERAGE OF THIS STORY HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! The media people should be ashamed. Why can't we here about more important stories, like the upcoming election!
