Police in Bourbon County now have a suspected robber in custody. The suspect is accused of an incident that caused some schools to go on lockdown Monday.

Police arrested 27-year old Shane Wood Monday night. He's charged with burglary and wanton endangerment.

Investigators say Wood pulled a knife on a woman at an apartment complex across from Paris elementary, middle, and high schools.

They will never find him, they still haven't found the person that killed two people in Little Rock!

It is a great thing that the schools have the capabilities to lock down like they do. I know when I went to school, none of this would have happened and the guy could have just run right on in. I am at work, but it makes me feel a little better knowing they do this since I have a child at that school. Way to go!!

Shouldn't you describe this suspect? I would like to know who to watch out for.

My son attends Bourbon central..The schools should continue to be on lock down until the man is caught. he could be hiding inside the school or grab achild or teacher as a hostage to get out of trouble. WHAT IS PARIS POLICE THINKING?? If you want to commit a crime come here...Youll get away with anything.

I just can't believe that these robbers have the nerve to rob people period and much less around schools and daycares. My goodness, what is this world coming too? Thank goodness that the schools and daycares are taking great precautions to keep our teachers and more importantly our children safe.
