A Grayson County Middle School student is dead after he collapsed during basketball practice. It happened Tuesday afternoon while the team was running routine passing drills.
Coaches performed CPR until EMT's arrived. 13-year-old Keith Walker was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The coroner says preliminary autopsy resluts show a sudden cardiac arrest. The coroner also says Walker had no pre-existing conditions.

Counselors were on hand to help students at Grayson County Middle School cope with the loss of a classmate.

Something had to be wrong somewhere.Your heart don't just give out on you,not in a heathy 13 year old child.Even if practice was hard.A child usually gets sore at first, with a hard practice, not cardiac arrest. So sorry for this families loss.Lets all remember this family in pray
