The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
EDMONTON, Ky. (AP) - State police have charged a teen in south central Kentucky with killing a man and holding a woman hostage.
State police say the 17-year-old male, who was not identified by police because he is a minor, was seen removing a body from a home in Edmonton on Thursday night.
Police jailed the teen in an Adair County juvenile center and charged him with murder, unlawful imprisonment, evidence tampering and terroristic threatening.
The victim was identified as 54-year-old Robert H. Fritz, of Edmonton.
State police were alerted by Edmonton police, who received a call from a woman in Indiana who said her mother was being held hostage by her teenage neighbor, and that another neighbor had been beaten to death.
The 43-year-old woman was unharmed.
Officials are performing an autopsy on Fritz's body to determine the cause of death.
