HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (AP) - Fire experts meeting this weekend will search for new clues into what caused a 1977 catastrophe near Cincinnati that killed 165 people.
Rumors of arson linger despite a ruling that faulty wiring caused a massive fire at the Beverly Hills Supper Club in Southgate, Ky., across the Ohio River from Cincinnati.
More than 20 fire experts from across the country will gather at
Northern Kentucky University to review files in the case. Kentucky State Police decided against reopening their investigation last year.
Former Supper Club busboy Dave Brock says he's convinced the panel will find evidence of arson that was missed by investigators. Saturday's meeting is open to the public.
