Animal Shelters Running Out Of Room

It's becoming a serious problem, many local animal shelters are running out of room.
The bad economy is taking most of the blame, from food to vet bills, many people who can hardly afford to get by are now getting rid of the pets.
The S.A.V.E center in Jessamine County is one of many shelters in central Kentucky rapidly running out of room for any more animals.
Workers in Jessamine County tell us the surge in drop-offs does mean more animals are available for adoption.
The Jessamine County S.A.V.E center requires an application process for adoptions.
Applicants are normally informed within 48 hours whether they and the pet they've selected are a good match.
