New Details In Deadly Crash

We're learning more about a tragic accident that ripped apart a young family.

Police have just identified the father, killed in the Lincoln County crash.

His wife and their two small children were also in the family's car when it was hit head-on by a pickup on highway 27, just south of Stanford.

The Sunday night crash shut the road down for several hours.

Police say a 17-year-old was driving the pickup truck southbound when she lost control. Her vehicle skidded sideways and ran into a blue Ford escort driven by 23-year-old Daniel Berryman.

He died at the scene.

His wife, Krystal, suffered serious injuries and was flown to UK hospital where she's now listed in serious condition.

Family members say she's undergone two surgeries on a broken neck and her prognosis is very grave.

The couple's two children were taken to a local hospital.

A two-year-old boy, Danny Jr., had a broken collarbone and is now out of the hospital.

Four-year old Keira is still in hospital with a broken leg, broken collarbone, and bruised lung, according to family members.

Police say everyone involved was wearing seat belts and both children were properly restrained.

Police do not suspect alcohol involvement in the crash.
