Triple Murder Trial Delayed

There's been a delay in a high profile murder case out of eastern Kentucky.

Robert Drown was scheduled to go on trial December 1 for the murder of Jennifer Ison and her two young daughters.

Monday morning, during a hearing in Carter County Circuit Court, Judge Rebecca Phillips postponed the trial until May 5. The trial will still take place in Johnson County.

We're told both sides asked for the delay.

Investigators say Drown killed Ison and her two daughters in May of 2007, and then set their home on fire to cover up the crime.

Drown faces capital murder charges. If convicted, he could be sentenced to death.

His next court appearance is set for November.
