Gas Station Employee Injured During Robbery

Police are searching for a man who held up a Lexington gas station early Tuesday, injuring the clerk in the process.

The robber burst through the doors of the Thornton's on South Broadway just after 2:30 a.m., demanding money.

Police say he cut the clerk on the back as he was moving towards the register.

The clerk didn't have to go to the hospital and remained on the job.

Police are reviewing surveillance video.
