A fatal wreck shut down U.S. 68 in Jessamine County seven hours Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Kyle Feck, 20, of Lexington died in the crash. Feck was a 2006 graduate of Lexington Christian Academy. A student at EKU, he was also a member of the Kentucky National Guard.
As Police still investigate exactly how the crash happened, his friends are trying to keep strong for each other and for Kyle's family.
"He more than anybody I knew probably had the ability to make people around him happy," said Seth Lawless, a childhood friend of Feck.
Lawless and at least a dozen of Feck's closest friends came to WKYT to remember their friend.
"I'll think about him everyday. He was such a great friend and he will be greatly missed," said Stephen Stone, also a childhood friend of Feck's.
Another childhood friend, Erik Martin said, "I don't think we'll ever forget him. He was a strong person, loving and dedicated to his country."
Feck's mother tells 27 NEWSFIRST her son will have a military funeral. Arrangements are still pending.
