Five-year-old Caleb Farris said it made him feel "good" to see so many of his friends and neighbors gather to help his family with medical expenses.
The little boy was burned while playing with friends over Labor Day weekend. His family said his recovery has been difficult but he is actually making big strides. They say that he's starting to play like he did before getting hurt.
The fundraiser featured an auction and raffle as well as performances by area bands.
Caleb's parents say he will continue to undergo skin graft procedures up until he is 21-years-old.
