A haz-mat situation led to an evacuation at a factory in Nicholasville on Monday morning.
It happened at McKechnie Vehicle Components.
Police say sulfuric acid is a chemical, used everyday in the factory, but somehow some workers came into contact with fumes and complained of irritation.
About 100 workers were evacuated to another building at the plant while haz-mat crews worked to make sure everything was fine.
One worker was taken to the hospital with eye irritation, but it was mostly as a precaution. Five other workers were treated at the scene.
