Heavy snow is taking its time moving through the state of Kentucky. This will be a historic once its all said and done with a few spots around a foot of snow.
The wreck happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Grant County.
An asphalt truck, semi, and a car collided near the 147 mile marker around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
The car ran off the interstate and crashed 300ft down an embankment.
The asphalt truck flipped onto it's side and spilled its load all over the roadway.
Police tell us one person was dead at the scene, but no one else was hurt. The roadway was back open by Wednesday night.
