Vote Re-Count Extends Incumbent's Lead

The votes have been re-counted in a closely contested state senate race, but the candidate still behind says she's not ready to concede.

The race is in Kenton County district, where some voting machines malfunctioned.

Incumbent Republican Senator Jack Westwood picked up another 447 votes in the recount, compared to Democratic challenger Kathy Groob's 343 votes.

But Groob is now asking Secretary of State Trey Grayson for a re-canvass.
