At Least 11 Scammed By Alleged Scalper

Lexington Police say at least 11 people have now come forward, saying have been scammed by a so-called scalper.

27 NEWSFIRST first told you about this story Wednesday at 6. Since it aired, more victims came forward to police.

The victims responded to ads on the internet or in their local papers offering season tickets to UK basketball games for anywhere from $900 to $1,800. In each case the victims paid the money, but never received the tickets.

One victim says he tried to get a written sales agreement from the suspect, but never got one.

Police are now searching for the suspect, who they identify as Anthony Mattingly.
