Three people are rushed to the hospital after a pick up crashes into a tree.
It happened around 6:00 Saturday evening on Kentucky Road 33 near Cummins Ferry Road. That's near the Woodford-Jessamine County line.
Police say the driver crossed the center line, over-corrected, ran off the roadway and slammed into a tree. One person was flown to the hospital, two others were rushed by ambulance. No word on the extent of their injuries. Police think alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
The road was shut down for several hours while investigators were on the scene.
