School Board Member Arrested

A prominent member of a Central Kentucky community spent Monday evening behind bards.

Police arrested Scott County School Board member Luther Mason Monday night.

He's charged with third-degree terroristic threatening and intimidating a participant in a legal process. State Police say Mason threatened a witness after a court hearing. Mason tells 27 NEWSFIRST that it was all a misunderstanding. He says he hopes his attorney will clear up the matter.

Kentucky State Police continue to investigate.

Mason was recently elected to the Scott County School Board.
