An investigation is underway in Clark County after school officials say a 4-year-old girl was left unattended on a school bus.
It happened Wednesday morning after the bus had made its runs.
The driver parked the bus and walked off. Another school employee noticed the child through a window, while walking by, and called school officials.
School officials say the girl was left alone for about 3-5 minutes. They say the bus driver did not follow proper procedures, which require a through check of the bus after runs have been made.
The driver has been disciplined, but school officials aren't saying how.
The four-year-old is ok. She was taken to her school after the incident. Her parents were also notified about what happened.
Clark County school officials say they're taking this seriously, and want to make sure it does not happen again.
