A Nicholas County family with seven children is homeless. Their mobile home is in pieces along Highway 68.
The home was flipped over on the side of the road this weekend. The family hired a mover to transport the home from a Carlisle trailer park, to a piece of farm land they'd just purchased. The mover hitched the trailer to the back of farm tractor and began the trip. A mile down the road the trailer lost a wheel, and the home fell off into the road.
It blocked traffic for nearly ten hours while crews tried to safely remove it. After the home could not be moved, police had it pushed to the side of the road.
