We have new information about a deadly crash in southern Kentucky.
It happened Thursday morning on Highway 30 in Laurel County.
Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST the crash happened as they were chasing a vehicle that wouldn't pull over for a traffic stop.
The chase ended when the driver of the fleeing car lost control.
The passenger in the car, 37-year-old Michael Bailey, was flown to UK Hospital where he died.
The driver, 32-year-old James Peters, was arrested.
Police plan to charge Peters with murder in addition to DUI, resisting arrest and fleeing and evading.
Police say they also found meth making materials in the car.
