A dynamic system will cross the state over the next few days and deliver another big rain event. This could cause flash flooding across parts of the state.
The ATF and state fire marshal are investigating a church fire in Pike County but say it does not look suspicious.
The Main Street Church of Christ in downtown Pikeville caught fire around seven o'clock Thursday morning. Firefighters contained the blaze within a couple of hours.
Investigators say it looks like the fire started in the attic. The ceiling inside is destroyed. Other parts suffered smoke and water damage.
"We feel we're fortunate. Things could have been much worse, and we're very thankful at least no one was injured, that's the main thing," said church member Keith Blackburn.
A pre-school is also held at the church. Classes were canceled Thursday and until further notice
