Traffic is now moving again along Leestown Road after a crash brought things to a halt in two counties.

The crash happened in Scott County at the Fayette County line early Friday morning.

Traffic on both sides was at a standstill while emergency crews tried to upright and move a tractor trailer that overturned after colliding with a car.

Police say a red GMC Pickup truck crossed the center line before three Friday morning and hit a UPS tractor-trailer.

The truck overturned, trapping an injured driver inside. That driver was airlifted to the UK Hospital; police have not released his name or what his condition is.

The two people in the pickup were ok.

There was a diesel fuel spill following the wreck. Crews worked for nearly eight hours to clean up the accident.

KiIm, Read the story again. It says "The two people in the pickup were ok." This is a major problem in these comments. People don't read the whole thing and get stuff started.

The next to last line of the article says "The two people in the pickup were ok."

Both the video and the article state that the two people inside the GMC truck were ok, which is amazing since the UPS truck is much bigger.
