Central Kentucky Gas Dips To $1.54

Just in time for Thanksgiving travel, national surveys show gas prices hitting their lowest levels in years.

The national average is now $1.97 a gallon, the lowest level since March, 2005.

It's much cheaper than that at many stations across the bluegrass.

Several gas stations in Nicholasville are selling a gallon of regular unleaded for $1.54.

In Lexington, the average is around $1.68.
