There's a lot of construction at the Kentucky Horse Park in Fayette County right now, as they prepare for the World Equestrian Games.
But all that digging unearthed something unusual on Tuesday morning.
Excavating crews, who were putting in a water line for fire prevention at the new outdoor show ring, found the bones of two different people. First they found a leg bone, then a skull.
The crew called their supervisor, who immediately called authorities.
Once investigators arrived they found more bones beloning to a second person.
The Fayette County Coroner says the area might have once been a burial site.
Workers say that part of the operation on the outdoor ring will be stopped for at least the next few days.
