It's Black Friday and shoppers are already packing stores across Central Kentucky.
Many stores opened at 5:00 a.m. and have extended store hours to accommodate extra traffic.
Retailers are already offering extra discounts this year due to a faltering economy and sliding sales.
The day after Thanksgiving got the name Black Friday because so much buying goes on, retailers see their balance sheets go firmly in the black.
