A tragic machinery accident in southern Kentucky takes the life of one person.
Williamsburg Police say around 5 PM today, a man died after being pinned between heavy duty equipment.
62 year old L.B. Ellis was doing excavating work near the Hal Rogers Entertainment Center, when he got out of his dump truck and began walking across the area to another machine.
Another operator did not see Ellis, and that's when he became pinned.
Police say the operator will undergo routine blood testing as standard operating procedure.
No charges are expected to be filed.
