In Jessamine County, the sheriff's department is investigating claims that a man tried to kill his ex-wife.

Robert Gill allegedly confronted his former wife, Debbie, outside her restaurant at the Keene Springs Hotel on Friday night.

The sheriff's department told the Jessamine Journal that Gill put a gun to her head, said, "remember me?" and then pulled the trigger twice. The gun misfired, sparring the woman, and Gill ran off.

He was later found at UK Hospital, complaining of chest pain. Once he is out of the hospital, police say he will be arrested.
