The family of a woman beaten to death in her own home is looking for answers and asking for help.

The body of 78-year-old Marilyn Hegge was found Sunday inside her south Lexington home by her granddaughter.

The coroner says she was beaten to death. Police have not made any arrests.

Her family has set up a fund in her name at all Central Bank locations. The money will be used to pay for the former nurse's funeral expenses.
