A man arrested for trying to lure two little girls from their bus stop appears in court for the first time Wednesday.
Police say 83-year old Carl Hair is a convicted sex offender. They say Hair approached the girls back in August as they waited for their school bus in Nicholas County.
Delbert Ring says he's been waiting for months to see Hair behind bars.
Ring's granddaughter, Adrianna Guzman, was reportedly approached by Hair when she was getting off the bus stop. They say Hair asked the girl if she wanted to listen to music in his car; an incident her family says still affects her to this day.
Earlier this week, Hair was arrested in Nicholas County and is now facing charges of disorderly conduct.
Hair appeared in court for his arraignment where he plead not guilty.
Hair will be in jail until he can post a $5,000 bond. The judge also ordered Hair not to have contact with minors, or the alleged victim and her family.
