Lone Oak Is No Longer a City.

LONE OAK, Ky. (AP) - Lone Oak is no longer a city. The tiny town
in western Kentucky dissolved its government at 12:01 a.m. Monday
following a Nov. 4 vote by its residents. Surplus funds of $150,000
will be kept in a separate account by McCracken County until year's
end to make bookkeeping easier.
