He's in charge of one of the biggest school districts in the state, and apparently he's doing a great job. Fayette County's Stu Silberman has been named Kentucky's Superintendent Of The Year.
The Superintendent of The Year award is presented by the Kentucky Association of School Administrators and is based on outstanding leadership and motivation, creativity in meeting the needs of students, and strong communication skills.
The award carries with it a $2,000 scholarship for a high school senior in Fayette County.
This is the third time in his career that Silberman has been honored with a Superintendent of The Year award.
