Mother Who Smoked Crack Around Child Who Died Is Sentenced

A Franklin County mother who smoked so much crack around her daughter, the girl died, has been sentenced to 12 years behind bars.

Jamie Jockers was sentenced today in court to 3years for possession of marijuana and 9 years for manslaughter.

Her six-month old baby died from second-hand, crack smoke inhalation, according to the coroner.

Jockers pleaded guilty to second degree manslaughter in exchange for that recommended 12 year sentence.
