4 Hurt When School Bus Collides With SUV

VERSAILLES, Ky. (AP) - Police in central Kentucky say four people were hurt when an SUV ran a stop sign and collided with a school bus.

Versailles Police say a Ford Escape failed to stop at the intersection on Monday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. EST.

The bus was carrying about 50 students from Woodford County Middle School. Police say one student suffered a bloody nose and a second had a shoulder injury.

The bus driver and driver of the SUV were transported to nearby hospitals for minor injuries. Versailles Police did not identify the adults involved in the crash.

The students on the bus were transferred to another bus and some left the scene with their parents.
