Central Ky Business Gives Gift of Warmth

A warm house is something many people take for granted. Now just in time for the holidays, four Central Kentucky families, who felt they were left in the cold, are basking in the warmth of another's kindness.

Wednesday, the families learned they were the winners of a drawing for a brand new heating and air conditioning system, compliments of Fayette Heating and Air.

Rose Fallis accepted the winning on behalf of her son. He couldn't be There because he was working to provide for his four children.

"I help any way I can but this was something I could not do for him, as much as I wanted to I couldn't," Fallis said.

That's why Fallis said she wrote to Fayette Heating and Air, explaining why her son needed their help.

Patricia Sallie's furnace has been out for months. So has Teresa Master's furnace. She didn't know until this morning that a friend had taken the time to write about how worthy she was to those she knows.

"I never imagined someone would put my name in for this. That's really an unbelievable kindness and blessing," Masters said.

The Hackers have been using space heaters to warm their home. Their air conditioning went out this summer and they couldn't afford a replacement.

"What we have is ours and we don't ask for anything, and today they didn't have to ask, a gift was given," Yvette Hacker told 27NEWSFIRST.

All four families now own brand new heating and air conditioning units. A gift from a stranger that wants nothing in return.
