Go get 'em!
That was the order to a small army of Georgetown Police and Scott County Sheriff's deputies Thursday afternoon. The two police agencies are working side by side to serve arrest warrants for more than 30 suspected drug dealers.
The drug raids were a result of two months worth of investigation. Authorities say drug activity has been picking up as the economy has declined. Each of the people arrested was already facing possible drug trafficking charges, but during the arrests police found drug paraphernalia and weapons. The suspects will likely be facing addition charges in connection to that evidence.
Authorities say today's round-up was so successful, they'll likely have another in the near future.
