A Central Kentucky family has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of a soldier, who's coming back to the Bluegrass after spending several months at Walter Reed hospital.

Trampus Miller, of Wolfe County, was welcomed back Thursday at the Bluegrass Airport. He's been at Walter Reed in Washington D.C. for the last six months.

His family says Miller is recovering from injuries suffered after his tank ran over a land mine. Another soldier died in the attack.

We'll have more on Miller's special arrival, coming up on 27NEWSFIRST this morning starting at five.
