Power Restored Following Outage In Lexington

A number of people in Lexington spent the night in the dark and the cold.

The power went out on Lexington's northeast side early Friday morning.

The outage stretched from Winchester Road along New Circle to Bryan Station Road.

K.U. officials say 1,900 people were affected.

It was apparently caused by a bad fuse switch.

The power has been restored.
