Weather may have played a role in a massive sludge slide in Tennessee.
It happened early Monday morning near Harriman, Tennessee, west of Knoxville.
The wall around a 40 acre retention pond collapsed, releasing a mixture of water and ash.
The slide damaged as many as 15 homes. One of them knocked completely off its foundation.
Some injuries have also been reported. Two people had to be rescued from a partially collapsed home.
The 40 acre pond is used by the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Officials say the pond does undergo regular inspections.
