Charity's Gifts Ruined by Leaky Pipe

The cold weather steals Christmas at a Lexington charity. A leaking water pipe ruined presents at the Ronald McDonald Charities of the Bluegrass House.

The director of the foundation tells 27 NEWSFIRST that a sprinkler began leaking earlier today and later began pouring water into the house's boardroom, where all the presents were being kept. The presents were left soaked with wet, rusty water, just before they were supposed to be given to sick children and their families.

Volunteers are working hard to clean up and replace the gifts before Christmas. If you wish to lend a hand, call the Ronald McDonald House at 859-268-0757 or you can drop off a donation any time.
