A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
Grief counselors are on hand at Middlesboro High School today to help students deal with the loss of a cheerleader, killed in a crash Tuesday night.
The accident happened on Kentucky 74 in Bell County at about 8 o'clock.
The Bell County coroner says 16-year old Brooke Lambert was killed in the crash.
A witness says Lambert's van collided with a pickup truck. We're told two others girls riding in the van were are also cheerleaders.
"It just seems just in the past few years, we've had a lot of lost loved ones just from school. It's been really hard to deal with. We've just gotta make sure we drive safe," said Travis Faulkner who witnessed the crash.
Lambert in the ninth teenager to die in a crash in Bell County this year. Earlier this month, four other teenagers from Bell County died when the car they were riding in was hit by a coal truck in Pineville. In January of 2008, another four teens died in fiery crash when their car struck a tree.
