Cats Prepare For Liberty Bowl

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Kentucky will rely on two freshmen with no
experience in the job to return punts during the Liberty Bowl.

Wildcats coach Rich Brooks says either Gene McCaskill or Winston

Guy will handle the duties since fellow rookie Randall Cobb is sidelined with a knee injury.

Brooks says McCaskill probably will get first shot at the job on Friday, while Guy also has been working at the position during practice.

Cobb, Dicky Lyons Jr. and DeMoreo Ford have returned 37 of the 38 punts, and all three are out with injuries. Freshman Danny Trevathan had the other return.

Guy also will return kickoffs.
