Inauguration Flowers: So Easy Anyone Can Do It!

By  |

When President-Elect Barack Obama takes the oath of office, people from all fifty states will celebrate.

Kentucky's Society Ball is always a big, beautiful bash. Part of what makes it so beautiful are the floral arrangements.

For the third year in a row, University of Kentucky Agriculture Department's Sharon Bale will be making the designs for the centerpieces.

Bale says she and team of volunteers will have about ten hours to put together the displays.

She says when all is said and done, the room looks, "stunning."

Check out the exclusive video above to see how Bales teaches her volunteers to put the centerpieces together. WKYT's Sherelle Roberts was her student this time around.
