A man facing charges stemming from a hit and run that killed a UK student was back in court Friday morning but not for long.
A judge moved Shannon Houser's hearing to next week.
The hearing is expected to last several hours and attorneys on both sides say a number of motions will be filed.
Police say Houser's truck hit and killed 18-year-old Connie Blount as she crossed the street near campus back in April.
He's charged with tampering with physical evidence, along with two misdemeanor charges.
Houser is scheduled to stand trial in February.
