Plane Goes Down After Crashing Into Power Lines

One person is dead after a small plane crashes in the western part of the state.

The FAA says the Cessna 172 struck some power lines in the Hardin community of Marshall County.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Investigators say specific information about what may have caused the crash could be difficult to find because no flight plan was filed and the pilot was flying under visual flight rules.
