Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
Three boys are safe after getting stuck on the edge of a cliff in freezing cold temperatures.
They were rescued Wednesday night in Breathitt County, near Highway 15 in Jackson.
The three, ages 10, 15, and 21, were walking along a trail when they slipped off a ledge. The 21-year- old called police for help using a cell phone.
Officials had to shutdown Highway 15 in order to bring in a ladder truck to get to the boys.
All three were taken to a hospital to be checked out, but they are doing just fine.
