The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Thursday. Rounds of storms may dump a lot of rain across our region.
Sub-zero temperatures are not only uncomfortable, they can also be dangerous.
That has superintendents across the state calling off school for Friday, in anticipation of a frigid morning.
Forecasters are calling for temperatures below zero.. When the mercury falls that low, there is a risk for frost bite and other expose-related problems.
Many schools were shut on Thursday for the cold, but the list continues to grow for Friday closures.
Some of the biggest districts in the state, including Fayette and Madison counties have already made that call.
