Driving in Icy Conditions

A new course called "Get a Grip" is intended to help motorists drive in bad conditions. We decided to take the course ourselves.

AAA has announced a new initiative called "Get A Grip" that will help motorists drive in wet or icy conditions.

The demonstration shows how important it is to slow down on ice, stay focused and to not panic, and keeping both hands on the wheel. These three simple rules will help you drive safer on ice.

The course takes you in a vehicle designed to show you what it's like to drive on icy conditions.

The course is free will begin in February. For more information contact Christopher Oakford at (859) 233-111 or email them at coakford@aaa-aliliedgroup.com
