Many people in Lexington woke up Wednesday to find messes in their neighborhoods.
From downed trees and powered lines to slushy streets, it caused a big slow down as people left their homes.
In the Chevy Chase area, the ice caused 200-year-old trees to crack and fall. In some places, tree limbs were seen, laying on power lines.
Amazingly, most people in that area still have power.
The Eastland neighborhood didn't fare much better. The snow and ice made it tough to get around, as did tree limbs, laying across roads.
