Kentucky Roads crews will be working 12 hour shifts round the clock until this latest winter storm clears.
Plowing, treating and clearing the roads on Kentucky's highways is proving particularly hard due to the high winds. Crews say as soon as they plow one area, the drifting snow covers the highway again. This is leading to crews having to constantly run their routes. But officials say they'll keep at it until this weather event is over.
