The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
Thousands of Blue Grass Energy customers are still without power and company representatives have a message for them -- help is on the way.
Additional crews left out of the Blue Grass Energy headquarters in Nicholasville Wednesday morning to go to help areas still widely affected by the winter storm.
Most power has been restored in Nicholasville, so crews there went to help out in Lawrenceburg and Cynthiana.
Company representatives say they are doing their best.
At the height of the outage, 13,000 Blue Grass Energy customers were without power.
The company hopes to have all power restored by the weekend.
